Real Stories/Real Courage

ImageLong before James Bond, spies were doing the impossible and serving their countries with real courage, not fancy gadgets. This book showcases a group of amazing spies and heroes, both men and women, from Revolutionary War hero Nathan Hale, who famously told the British when he was caught, “I regret that I have but one life to give for my country,” to those who served in the Civil War, World War II, Vietnam and Iraq. Each adventure is told as creative non-fiction. Look for Behind Enemy Lines in the Adventure section in the Classroom Library.
